The music of Flieder strolls with unwavering calmness through Trip-Hop, Post- and Progressive-Rock and creates an intimate and approachable atmosphere. The sceneries are fantastic and delightful, melancholic and vibrant.

Thomas and Thomas again and again sample and loop tracks live. A few vocal loops are the only pre produced tone threads in a dense tissue of heavy harmonies, self-confident beats and catchy hooks. Everything together bulges into a well-arranged universe in pastel shades.

The songs Traveller (featuring Natasha Waters, released in November 2013) and Beast place Passing By near to Massive Attack while the record overall unites the disturbing beauty of Mogwai with the spherical wideness of Morcheeba.
